I've heard good things about the Puralator oil filter......I use that and Mobil 1 0W-40 synthetic.....The only Polaris fluid I use is the Demand Drive Fluid for the front gearcase just because sometimes the engagement of the FWD is a little particular.......

I use 0w40 Mobil 1 only ($5.49). Especially in the winter.
No need for special 4 stroke (wet clutch ) high priced oil here.

Pure One L 14610
Champion ST 7317
Fram PH 7317 or TG7317
Napa 1356

P 14610 crosses to a AC Delco PF 2057, much better filter for $3.69.
the AC has a anti drain back and relief valve.

you have to watch for, is does it have a backflow on it?
In other words, when you shut off the bike with a Polaris filter (and some other filter's) the oil stays in the filter.
But with the Fram filter the oil drains out of the filter when you shut it off.
I don't know what the Purulator does??
----------------------------------------------------
NOW they finally changed the Powersports and Motorcycle Application Guide, and list a NEW filter number for the twins. P502057
