Does anyone have a cheaper oil filter and oil that I can use instead of polaris stuff.

Walmart sells SUPER TECH oil filters and the one you need (the same one I buy ) is #ST7317 cost is only $2.00

And they are good filters give them a try

 

local parts house stocks wix for my wheelers about 5 bucks very good filter, I use castrol syntec motor oil, have lots of miles no problems at all. $4.00 a quart at wally world.

 

It is my opinion that the Polaris oil is not as good as most good name brand synthetic oils you can buy cheaper so I see no reason to buy it.

Same with the filters. Wix and several others make a filter as good or better for less money.

 

What wt on the synthetic oil? Thanks for the help.

I like Amsoil the best,they were the first,they have the independent lab specs.,they are the best.

 

That oil filter is not for the 05 700 efi .... the micron is different i used to use that on my 500 ho ....

 

I use a Napa/Wix filter on my 2004 700EFI with Mobil One 0W-40 Synthetic oil
