Default Powdercoated Trailer Question

I was considering aluminum, but powdercoated is a bit cheaper. I don't want to have issues with rust like I do with my present trailer.

In your experience will a powedercoated trailer rust or not. Dealer says no, friend says yes.

If it will rust, then I will spend more and get the aluminum.

Default Powdercoated Trailer Question

Do yourself a big favor and go for the aluminum now, powdercoat will last a while but it will still rust in time. Stone chips and wear n tear from road debrie will eventually get through the paint and rust.

Tritons are very well built/high quality aluminum trailers...

Default Powdercoated Trailer Question

I'm picking up my Triton XT10-101 on Sat. .....I did alot of research on trailers and it seems the alluminum ones are the best ......They're a little more $$ but will last a long time.........The Tritons also have a torsion axle which is supposed to give a very smoothe ride....
