Oversize radiators
#1
Does anyone know if they make oversize radiators for a polaris 700? I know the liberty engines are notorious for gettin hot. I was thinking of putting in a larger or thicker radiator.

The twins really don't run hot, they just can't cool down with junk packed in the radiator. Either clean the radiator after each silty/muddy water hole with a water bottle or a supersoaker, or relocate the radiator on the front rack and end the overheating for good.
Highlifter makes an aftermarket radiator with the braket to mount on the rack, however you can save over $300 if you DIY using your stock radiator.
Happy New Year!

Izy, I just checked out your pics, nice quad. I did'nt know you had an 05 Sportsman, sometimes the late model Sportsmans suffer a sensor failure and give a false "overheating" icon on the speedo.
A true overheating condition will have coolent puking out of the overflow bottle. I have a coolent temp gauge from Highlifter on my 600, it's nice I know what temp I'm running at a glance. www.Quadovator.com also sells a nice temp gauge set-up.
Well got to go Izy, the fireworks are starting over the lake.
