While driving through the snow, and the front wheels engage, the handlebars shake back and forth pretty bad.

Is this normal?

Thanks in advance

I have an 06 800 and it does the same thing.
Feels like the traction is switching back and forth between the front wheels.
Kinda of anoying , but if its effective i can deal with it.

yep that's it, I was climbing a snowy hill last night and had to put the hammer down. The dang bars were goin back and forth like a mother.

That little hoarse chugged right to the top though.

It's amazing what that thing will drive through.

I realy drive the sheet out of it. ..........man

i assume its the tires getting traction and pulling, my 800 did it, and my 2000 500 is more like a vibration

I know what you meen about the pulling , its not that . but not quite a vibration either. Its a really fast back and forth handlebar movement.

workaholic, i hope this makes you feel better about shaking. Its always comforting to know that your not alone.

I know the feeling. It's the front wheels catching traction. If one of the front wheels catches more traction than the other then the handle bars will get yanked to one side or another.

Is that what you're talking about workaholic?
