hmm the magnum was plowed down trees(small), halled deer, used to pull others out of mud, been stuck in mud once or twice...been in water almost up to the top of the seat, been rolled end over end, been flipped on its side, used for farm work, used to play in the snow....

the trailblazer has been stuck in mud, been in water pretty high (got off and it floated) its been jumped, its been rolled, its been WOT through the woods, its pegged trees it pushed down trees its been wheelied its been on two wheels on the same side, it even played bumper quads on accident once...

the sportsman has been stuck in enough mud where we hooked it up to a fallen tree (BIG tree) and instead of being pulled out, the tree moved...its gone across fields done 45 mph, its been on gravel roads doing 65ish...

and no major problems with any of them...just simple maintence

Didn't buy it to just look at it parked in the garage!!!!! First long trail ride this spring... only 70 miles on my new sp700efi... over 125 miles of hard riding on the first day, raced through the woods, jumped through the air several times, once over 3 feet of air!!! Got radiator packed full of mud, overheated it 3 times, drove through river trying to clean out radiator... water up to bottom of the seat, drove through pond, water was almost over the seat, still overheated, blew decals off of it using overpowered gas pressure washer to clean the 3 plus inches of mud off of it, bent fins in radiator trying to clean mud out of radiator... just pure abuse that day!!! I guess its broken in now. I have over 1300 miles on it now and have had very few problems with it! Will never buy anything but a polaris sport utility!!!!!!!!!!!

5600 miles on 1994 400L 2-stroke with only 1 piston, 3 chains, 1 transmission, 2 belts 4 spark plugs. Mud, flood, shi$, or blood we rode mower with( 5' trail mower) swamped, water holed, towed 4500lb boat, etc. Wish I still had her.

3ed year with stock piston in '03 400 Trailblazer, pull 5' trailmower, race, dune, mud, swamp, jump, crash, pull, tow. Ride almost daily. Waiting to nuke stock piston!

Ran 65+ gallons of Alcohol thru BUBBA BIKE this summer and had to pull head and replace "0" rings...................thats it.

Stated else where about friend with 25K on '02 Sportsman 500 and has never adjusted the valves. Changes oil and replaced u-joints.

Look at my last three pics. It rolled over twice. No broken plastic. Took time to hunt down the parts, but total fix was 240 with all the shipping. If I had just gone to the dealer, would have been closer to 500. Took the extra savings and bought some more spare parts. Not looking forward to it, but I'm betting it happens again.

Two sportsmans, through hell and back 20000 plus miles in total between the two, lost of parts, lots of owner mistakes equals lots of fun. An atv is not an investement, you can't expect to get your money back, but you can expect to have fun. Remember, you only live once!

With my 98 magnum 425 I used to pack out an entire elk at one time. Bottomed out the suspension so bad the tires rubbed through the plastic.

05 sportsman 600 packed a moose out of the canyon took 14 hours but never would of made it without the winch. So far broke the right side foot rest, headlight, tailight and somehow a stick came up and broke the fuel shutoff valve off.

I've plowed my driveway all the way down to -20f and don't have any probs.

99 scrambler 500. 12000 miles on fisrt speedometer. (wrecked and busted)8000+ on the 2nd speedometer (wrecked and busted over 2 years ago) stuck, floated, ran from the law a time or 2. jumped, beat, rolled everyway you can think of. tired of putting speedometers on it so who knows how many miles are on it now, maybe 20-25000

The Scrambler regularly lands 5-6" of air flat, runs over trees, catches stumps, gets rolled down hills and berms, runs upside down, and goes through a couple feet or so of water. After the first few washes it had none of the original graphics. It pulls out all kinds of other bikes. It frequently runs with the chain untightened, oil unchanged, and air filter dirty. It has bent rims, was low on brake fluid for months, lives outside in the rain and extreme temps, and stays covered with mud. I bought it in June 2005 and have over 100 hours on it easy.

And it just keeps asking for more. Scramblers are awesome!
