Polaris brand warmers (grip and thumb) best price on these?
Hi I was wanting to purchase the Polaris brand hand warmer (tape under existing grips) and the Polaris thumb warrmer.
I was told on the phone today (from a dealer) that they both having matching black plastic Rocker switches... Is this correct and not toggles?
I like the idea of the rocker switch but honestly have never see them for warmers?
The price for the POL under grip warmers was about 53.00+ tax and the thumb warmer was 43+tax...
Are these price high or about average?
Thank you

OK,
Forget about the place to buy... has anybody used these polaris (packaged) warmers can you tell me if they are AOK?
They are probably a different mfg (like symtec or kimpex) but liked the switches on the Polaris version of the product.
Thanks

Haven't used any warmers, but check out www.polarisindustries.com (cut and paste, java not working) and see if they are still having their 50% off sale.

litegide, I have the polaris brand hand and thumb warmers with the round hi/low switches. Had to replace and relocate the switches. reason for failure was the low mounting positon where the dealer installed them the back side of the terminals eventually touch the handle bar and shorted the switch out. Only way I noticed this was a shock feeling when I touch the handle bar while riding on rough trails. So, If you install them your self might want to make sure there is plenty of clearance above the handle bar. Friends of mind have the MOOSE and HOT GRIP brands and like them and easy to install.
Good Luck

Hi Scooter and Rhino,
Thanks for the replies. The Polaris website is pretty informative, no 50% oof on the warmers but other slect products are shown w/the discount.
The POL part numbers for the warmers are:
Part # 2875344 $49.99 listed for the carb / efi
Part # 2874575 $54.99 listed for what looks to be the same.
Also for the thumb warmers they have (2) listed:
Part # 2874576 $41.99 for the plastic throttle
Part # 2871314 $39.99 for the metal throttle
All of these pictured do not show a SWITCH...?
Rhino, yours is round... you mean a round base with the black plastic toggle?
I want to order these but want to be sure the switches match... Do they come with the switch even though it appears there is no switch in the package? The Polaris website doesn't really show a boxed picture of the item - I'm guessing it's some generic item because ebay sellers show the exact same photo of the warmer tape.
Thanks again for the heads up on the PURE POL website and the mounting tips (so the switch doesn't get shorted out)
