Default broke a front axle BAD UPDATED!!!

i CANNOT push the broken part out from the other side.
i removed the left front ce and its a dead end. in no way can i get this thing out.
this steel must be hard. i tried different speeds, with different drills, and tons of bits.
all it did was make a shiny spot.
i dont see this being an easy fix at all.

ill stick to ridiing in 3wd i guess.
so sad.

Why cant you take the front diff out and slpit the case. It realy is not all that hard just time consuming. I can tell you the easy way to do it. You dont even have to remove the radiator.

Can you make some close up pictures and post them on here so we may get an idea how to help you better?

find or borrow a slide hammer
look at the end of it you will see threads
find a nut that will fit on it

find someone who will weld the nut to the broken axle

use the slide hammer to pull it out

or like the fella said earlier remove the diff and split it apart

maybe it's tight cause the axle might have twisted a bit and is jambing it into the male splines

the only thing thats in the diff is the splines. i have the u joint section in my hand.
its broke off flush with the diff.
im afraid of welding to it, dont wanna killl any seals inside the diff.

i dont see splitting the front diff making it any easier. the other side didnt go thru, im sure this side doesnt either.
im gonna have to weld to it, and chance ruiining something.
only way i see it comming out.

the piece in there is loose, but the retaining ring has it stuck in there, and i cant get vise grips, or a screwdriver or anything else on the end.
sucks to be me.

thanks for the options, but non have worked thus yet.

Find someone with a MIG welder and a spraybottle of water. Weld a little, cool it off, and repeat 'till done. Nothing should be ruined.

I can almost guarantee that if you put heat to the broken shaft you are going to have to replace the seal. Why not just take the diff out. It is not that hard.

how is the taking the diff out going to make it any easier?
i might be able to take it to a machine shop and have them put it on a press, but this splined shaft is hard as all get out.
the bushing that rides on the bearing(splined part) is solid in the middle. if i take it out, i still wont be able to access the diff from the other side.

any insight, please help. i might not be understanding your meanings.
thanks!
