Got the RCR stage one kit on today. every thing went smoothly.....only took about 2 hours.... I went out and fired it up, it turned over right away.....what a difference in sound....it sounds great. when i took off its real doggy until about 1/4 throttle then it really takes off. I mean u almost have to have half throttle for it to go anywhere. once it hits powerband though it practically lifts the front tires right off the ground with no effort. Is this normal? or should i re adjust something. well thanks

Is it bogging or is the clutch kit stalling the motor RPM'S higher than stock? If it's bogging at about 1/4 throttle you may need to rejet, maybe the pilot jet.

Is it smoking bad? If so you may need to go down on the main jet size.

Mine has tons of low end, it will come over backwads on you if your not careful, somethings up with yours, call rick.

Did you put a heavier primary & secondary spring in and preload the secondary clutch properly?

Is it a carb issue?? BTW what machine!

Mine sputters somewhat at 1/8 throttle but the plug checks good at that and WOT.
I may need to adjust the pilot to correct under 1/4 throttle.

Or It could be the stock carb, just the nature of the beast.
