Did Rick send you a HPD pipe?If so you can get the HPD clutch kit and get rid of some of the lowend dead spot.But the 250 wont have much lowend power but will fly in the mid to top range.It may just take some getting used to.

Yes it is the hpd pipe.......thats what i figured....id have to play with the clutch a little more. it does fly through mid and top though ur right. i just feel that i could get a little more from the low end. well thanks for the info

Or It could be the stock carb, just the nature of the beast.

Here is what you need in your clutch(you may be able to get it cheaper used on ebay than as a kit) primary spring HPD red/yellow secondary spring Polaris gold weights S58.This is what is in the HPD kit. Not sure what the spring rate is on your RCR spring but the HPD is 122/239

ftwflh, thank you....ill have to try that. i really appericiate the help. i took it out today and it didnt seem to be as bad.....i still had to get the r's up before it would really take off. Also what are the stock weights in the clutch........thanks

The stock TB weights are Fs
