I am wanting to build up my 400 more but i dont have too much money. I have about 150 right now. It already has a pipe, reeds and valves, milled head, pegs, I want to get it set up for motocross and trail riding, anyone know of cheap parts or anything i can do for the chassis or motor?

Ditch the DG pipe and start over. There is NO WAY to clutch for that pipe.DG cant even tell you what the operating rpm range is on it.Get you a Aaen,HPD or Hotseat pipe and clutch kit .Ebay the DG to get a part of the $$$ back. They may be good on the import machines but not for a 2stroke Polaris.

I thought about that but i dont know how much i could get out of the pipe and silencer, they are both almost brand new. they came with the quad when i bought it. it already has and hpd clutch kit on it. How much of a power gain will i notice if i put an hsp, hpd, or aaen compared to now?
