Default Polaris 500 scrambler exhaust

Are there any complete exhaust kits for a polaris scrambler 500. I searched a little but only found slip ons so far. My brother is looking to gain some horsepower on for his 500.
If there is complete exhaust what do you guys think would be the best exhaust.
Thanks

HPD and SuperTrapp make full exhaust systems for the 500 Scrambler but for the $$$$ to gain a good slipon is ok.Stock head pipe has a good flow to it.White Bros,Aaen and FMF make a good muffler. But for real bag for your $$$$$ look into the clutching.

well the header is old and rusted so it is time to get a new one anyways. We plan to get a cltuch kit and maybe a cam (if it doesn't kill the bottom end)
What would you suggest for a better pipe?

If you are dead set on a pipe and muffler the HPD is the way to go.If you are dropping that much cash you may as well go with a TEAM roller secondary and just tune your primary clutch to that.
The 500HO really doesnt need a cam to run good. You arent going to get alot of topend out of a 500 they are more for lowend torque and midrange power. You will get more by going with the HPD airbox mod than a cam.

Stay away from HPD. I had two Exhaust sys fall apart with in a year. HPD wont stand behind it. They will tell you that its a high performance parts. In other words, your SOL. And their roller clutch will fall apart to. HPD told me that the whoops will take out the roller clutch. Isn't that silly? I've never seen a trail that didn't have any whoops.

hpd is one of the premeir companies out there providing hi performance parts for polaris machines. i highly recommend them if u are wanting a company that does their own research and development.

I was thinking about getting the hot seat performance kit (actually it is my brother who is getting it, it's his atv I have a raptor) The hot seat comes with a clutch kit, complete exhaust, jets and airfilter for 580. I just looked it up. It looks like a a good deal though.
Is this a good bang for the buck. There is also some air intake thing (almunin box) that claims a 2 hp increase. does it make a noticable differnece

I heard some people say their Hot Seat sys falls apart too. Tell your bro to save his money. You can't get much performance out of a four stroke exhaust sys like a two stroke. It's not worth 6 bills. If anything, a clutch kit would be the only thing I would do if I could do it all over again. I got pist off from all the money I spent in mine and only got a little out of it, so I just went out and bought a faster quad and I lived happly ever after. The End
