Two Sportsman's and Enclosed Trailer Question
I'm looking for an enclosed trailer. I'm picking up the four wheeler later this week. I only have the one now but with the expense of trailers looking forward to probably two of them. I had been looking at a 6x12 enclosed trailer but I'm thinking this isn't gonna be quite big enough. I'm thinking due to height and widths I'm either going to have to go 14' long or 8.5 ft wide to get two of them in there.
I'm curious what sizes folks are using for two sportsmans.
Thanks,
Josh

You're correct, I'm pretty sure 2 won't fit in a 12' trailer. You'll have to go to a 14' trailer, but that usually means jumping up to tandem axle. If you put the ATV's side-by-side, it will definitely catch more wind going down the highway. Edit: I see Interstate Cargo trailers makes a 6x14 single axle. They also make a 5x14" also.

Two Sportsman's and Enclosed Trailer Question
Yep the above guys are right. You will never fit two Sportsmans in a 6x12. I have an 8.5x12 and I cannot fit my Trailblazers end to end in the 12 feet. And the Trailblazers are 6 inches short that the Sportsmans. The other thing to consider is extra room. I carry two Trailblazers, 10 gals of gas, 8 sand tires, tools, spare tire for the trailer, and I would not want anything smaller than what I got.
Hope this helps

Two Sportsman's and Enclosed Trailer Question
I have a 6 1/2' X 8 1/2' flat deck trailer and I can fit 2 sportsmans side by side. The bumpers stick out a little bit but the rubber is firmly on the deck. A closed in trailer is the way to go, it keeps the quads out of the elements and can double as sleeping accommodation.

Two Sportsman's and Enclosed Trailer Question
i used a simple 10 foot, tilting Karavan snowmobile trailer. it had a tilt up top and my twin 2002 Sportsmans fit in there just fine. the cover had about 3" clearance side-to-side, top-to-bottom.
brand new they are about $2K. cheap!
the Sportsmans did get bigger for '05 so i don't know if an '05-'06 would fit.
remember that the BIGGER you go with a trailer, the more of a hassle it is to move it around!
