Removing Brake Rotor Rustor

Removing Brake Rotor Rustor
I did a search and was unable to find any answers. I have some more questions.
Can I use a scotch-bright pad to remove brake rotor rust and is there any solvants I shouldn't use like a degreaser?
I bought my 1996 400L Sport from an individual rather than from a dealer and there is a clear plastic tube behind the rear Fox Shock with a plug in it. It looks lilke it's some type of drain. Any idea what this this is?
Lastly, I found the dip stick to check the counter balancer fluid. However, where are the rest?
Thanks guys.

u can use a scoth bright or a peice of 220 grit sand paper to revove the rust. you can also use any kind of degreeser on the rotor itself but you may want to keep it cleer of the caliper and pads. i would just stick with any kind of brake cleaner. as for the hose i don't know.
