I put on ITP mudlites 24x11x10 on the rear and 23x8x10 on the front. It made a big difference but you may need to regear the rear sprocket because going to a bigger tire will slow it down. If you go with an EPI pink primary, 24" tires and a 42t rear sprocket it will handle great. The winch I have is a Harbor freight 2000lb winch. I have had it for almost 2 yrs now and it still works great. The winch mount came from Big Buck Atv. They have winch mounts for just about any atv out.

I am running into the same aftermarket problems with my Hawkeye. The one thing I really would like to upgrade is the exhaust. Whenever I go to the dealer for parts I always have to have them pull up other polaris schematics for parts because they dont have the Hawkeye in their system yet.

Your front rack is the same as 04-05. The mount that I have will work for you. I dont like the idea of the winch being in the back because of weight. It will make it alot easier to roll going up hill and it makes the rear suspension harder of a ride. The part number for the front winch mount from Big Buck is wmp-r75 (298051-r75). This will fit.

I have an '03 and upon checking out the parts manuals for the l8r year models on the Polaris site can also confirm they are one and the same apart from trim color changes and a few minor mods. I found to my dismay that not all dealers were aware of this fact whilst attempting to order the newer type fuel cap w/gauge intro. on the '04 as the dealer said it wouldn't work out on my '03 but changed his mind when I pointed out the tank woz exactly the same part # wise so beware and pays to do your own homework!

Updated!! the dam rear skid plate (swing arm) from the 02-05 330 model will not fit the dame 06 model quite right! the brake braket on the 06 is a tad larger, i put it on, and found it to be cockeyed, tightened it down but soon found my chain had lossened all the way. so it has to be modified . No big deal, but now i have to wait for the snow to thaw to fix my bike lol.
