One thing nobody seems to have thought about yet with my solid brass pads...
They are the same meterial all the way through. No steel plate to eat into the rotor when they wear too far, and you can get a little more wear out of them because the whole pad is brake material. So you have an extra 1/8" of pad. You can probably use about half of the 1/8 before you you would have to change them.
That's one thing I recommend. Keep an eye on them because you won't hear the steel grinding on the rotor when they get too thin.
Yall have fun, wherever you are. Here in Mississippi, its 45 degrees and 2:00 pm and I'm about to freeze. We all start to chiver when it gets below 60 you know.

Six months! That's crazy! I usually get only one muddy ride out of the rears on my Scrambler. If I am riding trails, they last probaly 6 months, but any mud, water, or sand, and they are gone fast! The fronts hold up better though, still not too great.
$68 is kind of high. Sure that wasn't parts & labor?

first off i want to thank eveyone for your feedback. this forum is great.i have not yet purchased mr. box's brass brakes yet but plan to very soon and are already telling friends about them. the price is right and they are made by a rider and not a big co. the $68 dollar price from dennis kirk is only the part( note: in the 2000 cataloge the '00 325 trail boss is not listed but is identicle to '00 trail blazer. my best riding buddy rides one). dennis kirk and the manufacturers are ripping people off. for 1 1/2 inches of brake pad material. i can redue all four wheels on my car for $24 dollars! but again thank you all. i learned alot.
