Attn - Non Concentric Polaris Owners
#1
Two weeks ago my small (rear one) centre chain drive sprocket on my 96 Xplorer came off while on a run. Upon closer inspection I noticed that the bolt holding the sprocket on the spline actually cracked off some time ago as the end of the bolt is rusty and not "clean". It was riding on the spline for some time without being held on with a bolt.
Just thought I would let all you non-concentric polaris folks know about this situation so that you will not get "stuck" out riding with 2wd as I did.
Check the bolts holding centre your sprockets!
