Default Battery elimination and 4wd Scrambler

Hey guys-
I'm getting my Scrambler back together slowly, and am eliminating the starter and battery. I know the 4wd needs electricity to be activated, and I'm not sure if the Battery eliminator kit from White Brothers will be enough to keep the 4wd working properly. What have you guys done? Has anybody found a cheaper lightweight battery than the one HPD offers? Actually, I don't even see them on HPD's site anymore. Am I the only guy with 4wd that has eliminated the battery?

Although I don't have the answer right now, I'm intrigued as to what the kit includes. Also, I would like to know if you plan on pull starting the bike everytime with the pull rope? I know that polaris pull ropes will fall apart after a few months if you are lucky, and in a few minutes if you are not, does the kit included an upgraded system?

Cointoss-
The battery elimination kit just consists of a large capacitor that goes in place of the battery. It's job is to prevent voltage spikes in the electrical system that would burn out all the bulbs on the ATV. I've yet to see a pull start rope break. Guys on here running over 180 lbs compression have not had problems with breaking ropes. I'll only be at about 160 lbs compression.

I figured out my problem last night. But i still don't like the fact that the lights aren't bright untill i rev the motor. So, i had a brain fart and came up with a battery from a cheep portable spotlight. The battery is about the weight of a can of beer and has enough power to keep the lights on even when the motor is off.FIXXED MY PROBLEM!!
