Glad you like your DG most people loose performance with them.

ATXBILL,

I dont mean to burst your bubble or upset you but DG is crap for Polaris. A DG pipe on the dyno actually loses about 3hp. You cant tune the clutch to the DG because NO ONE knows where the power band is. Not even DG. They make alot of noise and look nice. Thats why mine is still hanging in the garage because I would not even sell it to my worst enemy. Well maybe I would but I dont have any! I started out with a DG pipe on my 250 when I was new and everyone told me the same thing but I did not believe them till I felt a 250 with a real pipe on it. You would not believe the difference between pipes till you felt it. You can ask ANYONE that has experience with Polaris that DG is not good.

WOW...I had no idea DG pipes were bad for a Polaris. Damn I wish I knew that sooner.

Well...I guess it'll have to stay until I run into some extra spending money again. Pisses me off I spent the $$ and now have to replace the pipe again.

While we're on the topic...can I clamp a screen around the thing to act as a spark arrestor? I couldn't find one that will fit the 4" diameter of the pipe?

HPD or RCR with a MTQ silencer, I think thats the best bang for the buck.

I would totally go for the rick ritter pipe. My boyfriend bought me one for christmas and installed it and now my bike is sooo much better. It has a great response and goes alot faster. My boyfriend loves the difference. He is 240 and it carries him very well. I got the clutch kit with the pipe and was the best decision ever. It sounds so much better, it sounds like my boyfriends kx500 dirtbike. And as I said the performance is awsome!
