Default Pipe for a 01 250 trailblazer

i own a 250 trailblazer and have been wanting to get a little more power out of it. dont get me wrong I'm 210lb and it has no problem getting me around but i'd like a little more, i've been reading a lot of posts about hpd pipes and clutch kits but im kinda straped for cash i'd like to do a little at a time so i guess my question is "is there a pipe that dosn't need a clutch kit to gain a little power?"

Honestly, you need the clutch kit to get the full benefit of the pipe, call Rick Ritter, he sells HPD parts, and he has a nice stage 1 kit, that has the pipe, clutch kit, jets, and alot of other performance parts. That would be the way to go, Rick is a GREAT guy and REALLY knows his stuff when it comes to Polaris. Just my $.02

I wouldn't think it would hurt anything, I just don't think you will see the full benefit of the pipe untill you clutch it, but if your running tight on money like myself, I don't blame you a bit, just get you a GOOD pipe and go from there.

Thats a good pipe, I just put one on my buddy's 2003 Trail Blazer 400, It sounded good and performed great. I really like HPD products as you can tell in my bio. LOL!

Don't let the hp numbers fool you. Its all in how you get it to the ground. Clutching clutching clutching!

With the HPD pipe and no clutch kiy you will have a terrible dead spot on the lowend and not be able to get the rpms to get into the goodie of the pipe.
If you dont want to spend the cash on a pipe and clutch kit check out Dynoport www.dynoport.com this pipe is designed to work with stock clutching and does a good job.

I just put a DG pipe on my 03 Trailblazer and I love it. My neighbors have noticed the difference as well.
