Default HPD parts

I noticed a lot of you guys have HPD parts and I was considering the airbox and carb mod for my scrambler. This comes with a complete jet kit right? Also is the airbox mod worth it? Thanks

The HPD airbox mod comes with a single main jet(170),a modded air tube, different vacum spring and a drill bit to open up the slide holes and the air snoot. After I put it on I noticed a huge difference in throttle response and mid range power. With the Dial a jet you will be ok.

I don't have an air box on mine but I DO HIGHLY recommend ANY of HPD's products. They really work.

Don't waste your money. You won't see any difference.

It comes with a 170 main jet, what is stock? Right now i have the stock jet, but with the exhaust alone the dial-a-jet isnt enough fuel on level 5. Right now i need to go up at least a size or 2, even more with the air box mod.

Ok and jets go in increments of 5 so thats 3 sizes. Thats probably about right but I would rather just have a jet kit... hey gunman, have you had a bad experience with HPD or something? just wondering cause i dont want to waste money.

Yes I did have problems with HPD.
I ran a #165 with a HPD pipe and a K&N with a air box mod and the plug was black and my gas mileage suffered on trail rides. Went down to a #162 and it was still black but not as bad as the #165. Hope this helps you. Unfortunately the PVT trans sucks on gas mileage and when you do any mods, it justs make it worst if you like to do any trail riding. Then you have to pray for a gas station. My KFX is the same way, but i solved that problem by putting on a bigger gas tank. I don't think you can upgrade the Scram with a bigger tank.
