I feel that it will mostly depend on the moisture content (along with the depth) of the snow.

i have the 500 cc motor out of a 500 4-stroke scrambler in it. i am going to put in the tranny out of the polaris explorer 400 which has a low range and the same mounts as the scrambler
as to who makes the 72" blade, moose plow, cycle country, polaris, eagle plow , and i think warn has one alse. i will get the moose 60 or 72 plow because on my dads kodiak he has the moose 48" and it is almost 7 years old and still looks new, it is also very durrable, i have taken a few good hits and didn't come close to breaking the plow.

I have a 72" Cycle Country plow on my 500 Sportsman. It is a big plow ,60" is plenty but i usually follow the general rule, BIGGER IS BETTER. you wouldn't want to try the 72" plow without a 500cc or equal torque. Plowing is not HP it's low end torque. I'll put my stock single 500 against anystock twin out there.
I'm unfamiliar with the Scrambler, sorry, but if it is not AWD forget it, you'll sit there and spin even with chains.
