lifetime belt warranty

Yes, pass off.
If the belt comes apart, they won't cover it under warranty. They will call abuse. If it wears out normally, they call it wear and tear maintenance and will not cover it under warranty. So in other word's, your SOL. Been there, done that.

Sounds like you need a new dealer. My dealer has replaced mine and my nephews. They only replace the original belt, after that, you buy the next one. Maybe someone from Polaris has been reading your threads.

Maybe it’s the appearance of your ATV and your attitude?
There have been many belts changed, when they were defective.
If you believe it should be changed under warrantee call Polaris directly.
But I know some guys that put over size tires and clutch kits on and shred there belts. If the new belt came out of your pocket would you honor that?

Had one replaced free of charge on my 02 sp700 and one on my 97 explorer, also free of charge. Neither were shredded or chunked, just plain old worn down and glazed. Pretty good to replace a belt when a machine is over 7 years old(97).
