Default Weighing Race ATV'S?

Unless you get a full titanium frame, I can't see looseing over a 100lbs off the Raptor. I weighed all the stock stuff of my Raptor that you could take off and doesn't even come close to 50lbs never mind 100lbs. both heel guards, 8lbs, front bumper 1/2 pound, rear grab bar 1 1/2lbs, swing arm skid 1 1/2 lbs, belly skid 1lb. So there is 12 1/2 lbs. Rear tire and rim weigh 18lbs so your not going to get much lighter for drag racing tires the same with front. The rear axle weighed 12lbs, so you might gain a few if you get a carbon fiber one. Lights are 3 lbs. shocks 20lbs. So even with all of this your not even at 50lbs. So how are going to loose another 50+ lbs? And if your Raptor is a 660 it even weighs more. Wet weight on a 660 weighed on Nascar scales came to 451lbs. I know you can lighen a lot, but over a 100lbs is going to take some serious money. I would like to see some pics when it's done tho.

True, but like stated above on a drag quad like mine and other's, the entire front end is cut off and redone with chromolly tubing which saves ALOT of weight and any other parts of the frame that can be replaced with chromolly helps alot also.
