pred in dunes
#11
You can go without paddles, but it is no where near as fun. You will feel like your bike just isn't as good as everyone elses. I would suggest ITP SandStars. Man they hook my Pred up. If you go with a group that has paddles you will only be left behind, and no bowl carving for you. If it's your first trip, chances are you won't be doing that stuff anyway. Riding in the Dunes is much different than the back woods.

I am new here but when i bought my predator i got them to thorw in the itp sand stars with the nice itp wheels and i can honestly say they are awsome in the sand i have been toi glamis twice since i bought it one month ago and they kick *** in the sand and yes i can say that riding in the sand is a whole different gig than the trail i am going trail riding this weekend i cant wait...

I just barley got some sand tires for my predator, since it's the middle of winter i haven't had a chance to try them yet, but i can tell you this. My brother has a Scramber 400 which he put sand tires on. Suddenly he can get just as far up the hill as i can on my pred. I can't wait to try these out.
