Default Spark plug Gap Help

I recently changed the plug in my 1999 Polaris 250 Trailblazer and it seems to run rough.I would like to check the spark plug gap.
anyone have an idea what it should be.If it's not that then i may have to clean the carb.

.025 is the gap.

What color was the plug when you pulled it?

black.it was dead.no spark at all.thanks for the help
