Anyone had this quad break its frame? A friend of mine said that his son was riding his quad in the yard and it broke!!! The quad is only 7 months old and it broke on a straight part of the frame! This is the 2nd Polaris frame that he has owned that has broke!

Just wondering if anyone else has had that problem!

 

In the "yard" , he must have hit a tree or has cliffs in his back yard!

I have a 03 an have had no probem with it an have race mx for 2 years so to say he was riding in yard as if it was just on flat ground in not right. They must have a pretty good mx track in there year an has been jumped hard like in flat ground landing. But they have a had a feew break mostly on 03 predators.

 

The only broken frame I've ever seen on a Polaris was an '04 SP 700 that was allowed to cartwheel down a rocky, really steep hill. My brother was screaming down a trail and clipped a tree with his '97 Scrambler. Well, he says "clipped" and I say "centered". It bent almost everything on the front of the quad, broke all of the steering components, broke both of the left side a-arms, and dented his helmet. However, it didn't break the frame. We are pretty hard on our Polaris products, I can't imagine the frame breaking just riding around in the yard. I am not saying that it couldn't happen, but I would be very surprised.

 

I lost my 500 off of a trailer going 70 miles per hour and never broke the frame..I sure have fixed a lot of wrecked sportsmans and have yet to see a broken frame...

Well My Earnhardt Jr L.E. Has been airborn close to 4 feet several times... sometimes landing nice, sometimes front tires first or back tires first. Several weelies, and otherwise been through %$#& and back and my frame is just fine!!!
