xtr's on the 800?

I put a set of 27 inch mudlites ( which are lighter than the XTRs cause i weighed them both) on mine and I loss a whole bunch of power. I lost 6mph on my 1000ft speeds and 5 mph on my top end speed. but it sure goes through the mud and snow.

I bought the 26 inch XTRs and I am very happy with them. It really depends on how you will use your bike. I try to use mine like it is a sport quad....
I was a little worried about acceleration and handling with the 27s if they were on the 12" rims because I thought they might lean more than the stock size in hard corners. On 14" rims it should not be an issue except you will not have as much protection over rocks and the ride will be worse.
If you don't corner too fast and do alot of mud the 27s are probably a no brainer.
The ITP series 7 wheels are great - I got the black wheels with the silver trim. They are not availabe for Polaris in size 14.
Also these wheels/tires provide the offset the factory wheels don't so ne spacers are needed and these tires stick out plenty far enough to protect the wheels surface ans edge from almost anything.
If I ever wash my machine I will take some pictures

i dont plan on putting 14"tires on. i was thinking more of clearance w/ the 27"tires. i figues to stay w/ the radials as they handle better and the deeper lug is what i was looking for.
