Hopefully this kit is worth the money. What do you guys think about gearing for more acceleration and low end grunt. Which gear would you change and what number of tooth, and where to get. Any other suggestions would be awesome! BTW, I am new to this sight.

Welcome to the forum, I would probably go down 1 tooth size in the front, Rick at RCR probably has the sprokets in stock. As for RCR Rick is a great guy and does great work, he will always give you an honest answer instead of trying to push things onto you. Let me know if I can help you with anything else.

Yeah, I was going to go with the porting and head milling too, but I think I am going to hold off on that for now. I have a couple girls that ride it too, and I don't want them to burn it up by holding the throttle steady in a hot spot. Maybe it wouldn't be a problem, but I know that they are not throttle jockeys. What do you guys think about this?

The porting and head milling is a great addition to a trailblazer with a pipe. But if you decide to go through with the porting and head milling the best thing you could do is add a 34mm carb or so, to aid in allowing more air to flow through with the port job. The carb addition with all these things made the most noticeable improvement on mine.

I just sold my 05 scrambler 500, and it seemed that my trailblazer wasn't far off of keeping up with my 500 up to about 40. I wonder how much difference I will see now with the pipe? I don't have the 500 to test against anymore, so I guess I will just have to go by seat of the pants.

The stock 250 will do about 50-52mph tops. The scrammy 500 will do about 65-68mph tops. The moded 250 with the setup you ordered will do about 55-56 and get there alot quicker. I think you will be happy with it.

I never checked my 500's top speed, but it must take it a mile to reach 65mph!! Seems like it hit 50 in a hurry, but then flattened out pretty quick because of the weight to hp ratio.

I have an 03 trailblazer and Im thinking about doing the rcr set up. But I'll need my polaris place to do all the work for me. First how much louder is this pipe going to be and how many hrs do you think they would charge me. If I tried doing this all myself. I would screw up something else and still have to have the mech put it together for me. So why not just let them do it from the start. It is easy enough for a basic polaris mech to do right. Im not sure of my local polaris mech skill. Just mine.

I'm headed out to my shop to put mine in right now. I'll let you know. Cant really test very well, as we are getting hammered with snow.

Well, it took about 45 min. to do everything except the clutch spring. That looks like it will take another good 45min for the first time, probably quicker the next times I tear into the clutches. The sound is awesome! It's not loud like a sled with pipes, but it sounds like a dirt bike. The fit was very impressive. The directions were great. I did take it through some snow, but it was hard to tell any difference because, number one, it doesn't have the clutch spring in yet, and number 2, I am riding in knee deep snow, with 15* air temps, and blizzard conditions. I will let you know more this weekend.
