Just ordered RCR Stage 1 kit for 01 trailblazer!!
#13
I got the primary clutch spring in, and it only took about 35 min. I could do it again in 15. I am used to clutching my F7, (that I just sold). Usually a kit has a helix, weights , and both springs, when adding a pipe....I guess I shouldn't have questioned Rick in my mind....Just by changing the spring, this wheeler came to life! The engagement RPM is perfect. It hits the power band of the pipe very quickly. ( I don't have a tach yet, but I am going to get one to make sure I am hitting the optimum RPM) It was about 10 degrees out yesterday afternoon when I put it in and tested, so I put in the fatter 150 jet. He sent a 140 as well, and stock is 130. I left my airbox in because we do some crick riding out back of my and a friends property. I can't wait to play with his 600 explorer in the trail. Mine is so much lighter, and more manuverable, and now is a lot quicker to get up to speed. I also have a friend with the same trailblazer as mine. (we picked ours up together). As soon as I can, I am going to have him in and we'll see the real world test. As far as I can tell, this kit was well worth the money!!!
