I recently acquired an old Polaris three-wheeler that I believe is a 250 Scrambler. I'm wondering if there's anywhere on the 'net to get replacement/performance parts for this thing? I've checked a ton of sites, but found nothing. It runs alright, but smokes pretty bad. I'm starting to wonder if it's a better boat anchor than a three-wheeler...anyone got any ideas?

The Scrambler 3 wheeler has the same engine & transmission as the Trail boss of the same age (1985). Other than that you won't find any other parts or acessories, They (Polaris) didn't sell it for only the one year. Your local Polaris dealer should get you most parts you will need.
WJW Ps. It is a 2 cyle engine it is going to smoke.

I haven't checked with the local dealer yet. At then very least, I was looking for a pipe and filter. I kinda thought it was rare, being it's a three-wheeler and all. As for the smoke...I knew that it was supposed to smoke, it has ever since we got it, but when you give it hell, it looks like the back tires caught on fire!! It's really bad *lol*
Thanks for all the assistance.

Holzaure's (sp?) should be able to help you out. If not make the trip oever to Midwest Motorsports.

Yes it is somewhat rare, but not really worth much.

Holzhauer's...HA!! Don't get me started! Those two(the Holzhauer bros.) would rip their own mother on a quad! They sold a Raptor for $8400!! I can't believe there's someone dumb enough to buy a Raptor for almost 2K over the MSRP! Collinsville Yamaha quoted me $6500, plus they had both colors sitting in the back, ready to go! Don't get me wrong, there's a lot of good guys there, but the owners are ********.

Only suggested them based on your location. I've never dealt with them personally. Thanks for the heads-up.
