I have a 04 atp 330 and an 04 SP 700 carb. They both have around 400 miles on them. I recently blew the trans in the ATP, and several months ago one of the axles sheared of at the hub. Both problems where over 1000.00 each to fix. The SP is on its second set of factory tires. second set of front axles and it also blew the trans. This machine I have also put around 2000.00 into.
My wife and I are thinking of getting sport quads instead.
Is this a good deal, even trade my two machines for 2- 05 pred. 500's and one Pred 90. All are brand new and still in crate.....??????????

I am curious to know how you are managing to tear up that much equipment. Where and how do you ride. I am guessing but based on the fact that you are looking at Predators you were beating the crap out of your utes. We have a Scrambler an a 92 Quadracer and they are much more fun for aggresive riding, also the quadracer will power through or over anything but the deepest mud. That trade your dealer offered is definitley worth it. See you on the trails. Jimmy Mc

I ride localy only. Train tracks, trails, mud, some water but not muck. I don;t beat on these machines at all. You really cant beat on a ATP 330, its slow and ot has the pick up of a turtle. The dealer is a buddy of mine and he will be in business for a long time. He does something that alot of Polaris dealers don't do ( he takes care of his customers). He has both of my machines sold already to a local guy the ATP 3000.00 and the SP 4000.00
MSRP on the pred is 6199.00 each/ my price is just lower than the trade.
And the 90 Pred is free because if you buy two machines you get a 90 for free.
He has a similar deal on sleds, buy two Fusion 900 and get a third for free...
sweet huh

Let me get this right, he sold both your quads for $7000 and he is giving you allmost $15000 in quads for a even trade. So your saying your dealer sold you 2 brand new 05 Predators for $3500 each then gave you a brand new Predator 90 for free. I just can't see any dealer doing this even tho you know him. Hey tell your dealer I got a 03 250ex that I would trade even for a 05 Predator.

Yes that is around the MSRP. But dont forget, a large volume dealer who buys 50,60,100,200,500 of the same machine gets a substantial discount. I know of another dealer who doesn't sell half of what my buddy does and he buys sport models at about 60% of the MSRP and he sells a fraction of my buddy.
The same is true on cars. Do you really think that whenyou tell a dealer that you want to spend 25k on a 30k car, and he says you got it but i am making 0$ on this sale and then tries to make you feel bad. YA think he is telling you the truth...NNNNNOOOOOOOO
The average car salesman mkes at least 1000.00 per car sold. That is usually 5% of the dealers total cut. And if there is a trade involved the salesman usually get aroud 25% of the auction price or the resale if it is in good shape....
That is the business.. There all in it for one thing. THE MONEY
