1991 250 trailboss 4x4
#1
husband got 1991 250 trail boss 4x4 and not even 24 hours later our son rolled it. The right side handle bar was bent pretty good. We bent this back and thought ok not bad could have been worse. But now we noticed that when you goto put it in reverse it revs up pretty high. Someone suggested checking to make sure all the connectors were still connected. Did that and everything seems to be ok.We can not seem to figure this out. Can any one help with this please. Thanks

in low range, neutral, and high range, The idle is fine. As soon as you start to engage it in reverse or have it in reverse the idle goes to the rev limiter point.Does this make sence cause it does not to us.

IDK what to tell you but it sounds like a wiring problem somewhere, thats my best guess anyways. Or maybe when you put it into reverse it hits and pulls on the throttle cable somewhere somehow. Was it fine before the rollover or was it not put into reverse.
