Default ratteling sound in my POLARIS PREDATOR 500 TLD

i was out riding on monday and i was going kinda fast, anyway, all of a sudden as i was riding i heard something in the motor start to rattle, it almost seemed as if a rock was ratteling in there. i mean the gears shift fine. when i rev the motor the ratteling gets louder, any idea what this could be, and if so how much would it cost to fix.. keep in mind i just bought this quad about less than a month ago. please i will take all opinions..thanks

Take it to a dealer.......my guess is its a valve needing adjusted, or piston slap, or something similar to those things.

I agree with ^

Decelleration is always high vibration, try that and if it consistantly rattles, locate the area and check the nuts and bolts.

1 MONTH ,you go back to the dealer and take a good mechanic in the shop tell him to try it out
that the engine is rattling at top end and get a new piston or valve check+timing chain check up right away,
you SHOULD'T pay any f**** cent s for this.;

it turns out it wasnt anything of those things everyone had mentioned. what it was is that one of the teeth or whatever it is on my clutch basket broke off and it was just banging around in my clutch, so i had to get a brand new clutch installed. i guess the previous owner did alot of drag racing and jacked up the clutch. but its fixed now and now its time to head out to glamis this summer hell yeah! thanx for all the advice though i appreciate it.
