I have a 99 stock SP 335 and was wanting more aggressive tires for mud, hard packed, and general trail riding. I would also like to keep my stock rims. I've read good reports on the Mud Runners, 589 Titans, and Mud Sharks. Would these tires be to heavy for my 335? Has anyone tried any different tires on their 335? Thanks Alot.

i getting some 26inch titan 589 these tires are very aggressive in mud and have very large lugs if you were to get these for your 335 then you would see great power loss!! And in the mud the machine would have a hard time turning them. If i was in your shoes and had a sportsman 335 I would get much smaller and lighter tires such as titan 489, wolly bogers, strykers, or maybe goodyear mud runners in a small moderate size like stock size or less. But they would still cut down on power because of big lugs!!!!!

blackwaters are good too stay close as you can to stock sizes. Spyder tracks are fairly light, go to your Polaris dealership and run it by them I am sure they have helped others out.

The hardest part is finding a matched set using the smaller 10" rims on the front. When I need to replace the tires on mine, I'll go with 12" rims on the front and put 24-25" tires all the way around.

The SP335 actually has more low end than most people give it credit for. My best frien dhas one with 25" Bi/tri combo on it and it turns them fine. If I were you, I would get 26" bugs for the front and back. The bike will pull them fine. They are light weight and not too aggressive.

If I end up keeping my 335 I'm going to 25" Blackwaters all the way around. Have you thought have maybe a pipe, filter and jet kit to help turn the larger tires?? I have only a K&N and have noticed about3-4 MPH better top speed....a whopping 48 MPH or so.
