Default fender extensions

Does anyone have experience with the various fender extensions out there? It warmed up to 55 today and I went riding in the slush. My ATRs are wider than stock tires and the Type 4 rims are a little offset, so my tires stick out past the stock fenders by an inch or two. The machine and I were soaked and covered in slush after just a couple miles. I hate to see what I will look like during mud season! I've looked on-line at the Moose extensions and the Polaris Mud Skirts, both which should fit my machine. The Polaris extensions cost about twice as much as the Moose ones. I am looking for recommendations on these or any other product that might be out there. Thanks!

I think if you look under the polaris clearence web site in the misc. accessories they have some foot well extensions on sale for the 2004.5 and previous sportsmans. They add a little protection.

You can check out the Moose fender extensions on the Big Buck ATV Products website. Sorry I can't post a link, but this forum is blocking the link to that site for some reason.

Yeh, mud is fine when you wanna go muddin. But when you want to go on a weekend camping trip and the trails are muddy (which they will be around here from April-June and again in September-November), you don't want yourself and all your gear dripping wet and covered with mud by the time you get to camp!
