Silverado, you're right, its no DS650!!But thats what I am tring to get away from. Its got power!! Just not a hole lot of speed. My dad has a 94 Bigboss 400, an used to have a Explore 400. Its got a lot more power than those. Low gear is awfull low, but I will need that to turn 27inch VAMPIRES!!! When I was there I talk to the dealer about a sport quad, He said they are going to have a 700cc (shift trans.)sport quad. He said its suppost to eat up raptor's and DS's.

Hey Hall !

Where do you ride down there in the southern part of the State ? We are pretty much limited to the Badlands, and a couple of 60 acre private places.

I'm sure you have herd of Haspin Acers. If not that place is pretty good. They have a alot of differnt kinds of things to do. MX tracks, trails, and mudholes you would not believe. It is also open to trucks & rail buggies, so you have to watch out for them!!There is a place where i live where i do most of my riding. Some guy That lets me ride on his property, has hundreds and hundreds of aceres to ride on. Those two places and Badlands are about the only places i ride at.
Every once in a while we will head up to Silver Lake Sand Dunes. But not much. And also I own about 200 aceres that I ride on..

65 mph according to the speedometer. And this is at 4500 ft. elevation. Done it a bunch of times now, and it gets up there pretty quick.
The suspension is tighter than my old SP so it just kinda wants to go fast, I, of course am only trying to make it happy, it's still so young.

go a couple hundred miles have it serviced and see what she will really do, i have 1800 miles on mine bought it in May of this year. Not a problem and lately have really used it hard , my girl freind doesn't go with me when it drops below 45 degrees so it is just me and i tear it up some. Good break in is essential for long term reliability, which i seem to be having. My SP started to ride better at the 1500 miles mark it is quite a bit plusher than when it was new. not that it was ever stiff.
