I chickened out at 60 too. I'm sure it'll do more though.

What the Heck Ya doing Silverado? You have had that machine for over a week, and only 30 miles? Blow the dust off the thing and ride it. Ive had mine for a month now, and hit 160 miles tonight. It hasn't as much as burped yet.

BTW, Id say your right on the money with the thing running between 65 and 67.

Enjoy,

Dave

65-67! thats the same as a 500 Scambler.I now the H.O is faster than mine (55mph) but thats is even faster than a Grizzly (60mph).

251 miles as of this afternoon. Just did a great ride with my son to a secret hotspring pool in the National Forest down here in S.W. New Mexico. 30 miles round trip, 2 1/2 hours--right out my back door. We cheated on the way home and drove about 4 miles on the State Highway. 65 mph.
This thing even handles good on PAVEMENT!! What an AWESOME Quad!!
Silly Later,,,Fourlix

Picked up my new silver 500HO Sat. Ordered 2000 warn winch bumpers and racks. Seems to have a lot more guts then my 99 did. Can hardly wait to get out on it. Been raining all weekend. been reading about the Hatfield and Mcoy trails in West Virginia. Will be going to check out area during Thanksgiving week put HO will have to stay home this time. Promised the wife a trip without the toy.

65, YA RIGHT , my sc500 will only do about 62 with a good wind on a gravel road. I don't see a sportsmans(100 extra #) doing 65-67, thats about what my 400ex will run, and there is no way a sp or sc 500 ho is going to beat the 400ex unless it is a mud strip.
