i had it sitting outside running for about 1/2 hour and i went out and my overflow was full and coolant was all over the ground. its about 30 degrees outside so i guess its headed to the dealer.unless you guys think its normal for a 500ho to puke after sitting idel for about 1/2 hour. is there something i should look for or something that may need adjusted before i head
to the dealer...

it shouldt be doing that, thtas for sure. sounds like the coolant isnt circulating thru the system. maybe the thermostat or the water pump isnt working right.

im 99.9% sure it was the water pump for a while now i have been hearing a strange noise from that area. iwas actually thinking the other day that it seemed to have more vibration than normal this really sucks thank god for the extended warrenty...how is polaris on these kind of things. the last thing i want is them trying to find a way to make this my fault..

Sorry to hear of your troubles my friend.

The first thing to always check for in an overheating condition is a dirty/clogged radiator core.

In an overheating condition one or two things will happen, either singularly or in combination. Fan and or a radiator clogged with mud or silt.

1. Is the fan running? yes good, if not

2. Fan operation - direct wire the motor to check the functionality

3. If the fan works / coolant is on the ground and you are Absolutely sure the radiator is clean it might be the coolant temperature sensor or....your waterpump ( However this is rare)
