Ive had a 39 pwk sitting on the shelf for a while now, and ive been waiting to get my 4x4 freshend up and ported before I put it on. Rite now the motor only has HPDs trailpipe and a boysen reed valve. (plus clutching and piston)
But I think im gonna try it the way it is now. Dosent someone on here run a 39 with stock porting? Where should the jetting be for this? Im only gonna run a clamp on filter, till I get a good aftermarket airbox.

your jetting should be a 180 main at 60 to 1 oil ratio. you will only see minimal gains with the stock porting.

I did run the PWK on stock ports. I had a 35pilot 162 or 160main. eeg needle 6.5mm slide with the 3.5 needle valve.

The throttle response is up with this set up but gas millaige goes down severely. in back to back drags the same day my bike showed to be 2-3 lengths faster with the 34mikuni carb. That did change once the ports were opened up though.
