Default 06 Predator Squeak

Has anyone else noticed a VERY annoying squeak coming from right around where the steering column meets the body? If you noticed it, were you able to get rid of it? Every little wiggle to the right or left squeaks. It's the most annoying noise when you're in a rocky area.

I've never noticed it......there is a greasable bushing there though.....have you greased it recently?

I haven't done that. It's made the noise since I first got it. It sounds like it's the wires rubbing against the front cab. I can't figure out which one(s) is doing it though. I will see if greasing the bushing helps. Thanks for the recommendation!

Could also be the wires you said......there is a brake line that goes down through there......

It's not really a squeak, more of a creaking, but on either side of the front plastics on the underneath side is a clip where it slips into place on the tank, if one side has come unhooked it can creak, mine did that the other day.

I was just going to tell you the it may be the clips on the tank. They suck, I took mine off and drilled Holes in the plastic so I could just use a blot.

Good idea, i might do that with mine if it keeps coming out of the clip.

They shouldn't come out, if properly adjusted, and properly put in. In my personal opinion, I'd just break them off. Mine are broken off, and my plastic fits and rides just fine. There is no slop in it.

I'll check that out too. Unfortunately, I'm storing it an hour out of town, so I'll have to check it out this weekend. Thanks for all of your input.
