I would like to put bigger tires on my scrambler but I dont want to big, like a 26 front 25 rear combo I dont know if they would clear. I did see that the GBC Dirt devil comes in a 24-11-10 which except for stock size in the rear is about your only choice for an aggressive tread pattern. Is anybody running this tire? How is it?
What other tire/rim combos are some of you running?

To make them clear in the back, you would have to push the floorboards forward a notch or two. I was thinking of 25 inch Bearclaws all the way around. Most people that I have spoken to have gone with 25" front and rear.

I finally decided to stick with stock size tires, but switched to Bearclaws in the back and Razrs up front. Heck of a difference!

Only one thing I can say for sure...If you get huge tires put on an EPI clutch kit. The low end is unbeleivable compared to stock or piped and performance is greatly improved.

Good luck!

I put stock size dirt devils on my wifes 01 scrambler 500.I have 28" outlaws on my sportsman(before anybody says it's impossible rider ability, wheel speed and the willingness to get very muddy are a determining factor)and she follows me and a few other big tired bikes just about any where we ride with the exception of deep water crossings. Excellent all around tire.

Xplor, Wouldn't having 25in. tires all around mess up the awd, I was thinking of 25 in front 24 in rear.

I thought so too but after asking about 5 people on these forums they said all was fine at that size. No better proof than practical experience...

Every time I see this subject,I am still tempted to go bigger but I don't want to lose performance.

Let me know how it works if you go bigger!
