That spring will work great for getting the RPMs, but watch the motor about 200 feet out or more. You may need a 44-40 helix to work good.

Brent, start with your 53 weights and that spring and go from there. By the way, that spring is an SOB to get on by yourself.

Well the fedex truck pulled up friday. And I wasnt really expecting anything... It was a box from Louisiana. The maroon spring, that Ced had. He shipped it overnight. And I didnt even ask him to. Hell, I havent even sent him any money yet. He said "If it works, pay me, if not, send it back"
Im going to try it tonite, and post results.
Thanks Ced, once again youve helped me out. your a real stand up fella!
I owe ya one,
Brent

I agree Bob. A powermax on alky with on a 200?? lb bike? LOOK OUT!

Anyway, heres how it went with the maroon spring. With the 10/AL -53g, I got 7500
With tucked under C's, 47g, I got 8600 and it stayed there. My engagement is 5300 and its pretty harsh. Every now and then I smell a slight hint of rubber, when I first drive it out of the garage. My primary is in REALLY worn out, so Im going to bid on a new one this week. Also hope to get my roller conversion put in.
As of this moment tho... It leaves hard as hell, and seems to be pulling hard too.
Hey Ced, I got dibs on the powermax cyl if you ever decide to go sled engine. :-D
