i took my front springs off and when the wheel fell down the cv joint popped out. how can i fix this?

 

1) Take your front hub apart & remove the end of the outer axle from the strut while leaving the strut hanging from the bike.
2) Remove the boot clamp on the outer end of the axle.
3)You can then grab the splined end of the axle & work it till the splines from the inner axle mesh with the splined components that are covered by the boot.
4) Reinstall the boot, clamp & bolt everything together.

 

sometimes you can get lucky and get the splines back without removing the boot ,but it takes patience and luck(beer).
