Finally took the 800 EFI plunge!!
I just bought an 06 800 EFI as well. I went with the camo pattern. I put on a Polaris brushguard and double tube rear bumper. I also put on the warn multi mount winch kit. I bought the winch separate, a warn 3.0. I had to modify the front brushguard by cutting off the bottom crossmember to make room for the multi mount. It is worth it though, you can't beat having a winch front and rear. How do I attatch pics on here? I also have 27" mud lites and I am planning on a few more mods but i have to get new tires and a lift for my wife's mule 3010 Trans 4x4 first.

Congrats on your new 800 EFI, Jmpmastr82. Sounds like you will be all prepared for muddin'!!! I just talked to the dealer yesterday and ordered hand & thumb warmers, and a mirror. Unfortunately they are out of stock and needed to be ordered which will prevent me from picking up my new beast until sometime next week. Oh well, I can wait. Good things take time. I thank all on here for the help they gave me on spending MORE $$$$$$ ;-) Will

Finally took the 800 EFI plunge!!
Well Folks, they are predicting 3-6 inches of snow tonight for Downeast Maine. I got word yesterday that my new 800 should be ready to be picked up today depending on the final word from the service dept. (They had already gone home for the day so I'm waiting for a phone call this morning.) I am really looking forward to getting this beast home. I want to thank all on here, for their help in influencing me to add extras and spend even more moolaa$$. I will post some pictures of both ATV's when I can. Think Spring!!!! Will

I am jealous, I want one but cannot bear the $ 4,500.00 difference when trading in my 500 for an 800. I put a clutch kit in mine & it gave me alot more power so I will just settle with what I have.
I can't imagine using all of the 800's power in the woods anyway. Maybe on the farm pulling trailers but not in the woods.

Finally took the 800 EFI plunge!!
Goodness Gracious!!!!!!! I just took my first spin! This is an awsome machine although I think I may let out a bit of air pressure on the tires....MUCH TOO STIFF on rough terrain. My 500 HO floats over the same ground. The dealer said he put 7 PSI in the front and 5 PSI in the rear. I'll check the book because that seems a bit high? Looking for some feedback.
Anyway, this beast purrrrrrs real fine with plenty of power. I punched it just once in high and the front end jumped into the air....hard to believe the torque this ATV puts out. I went 13 miles through mud, rock, gravel, and water, with excellent responses. this has to be Polaris's best product to date. Thanks for all the input from everyone. I'll be posting some new pics after I post this. Thanks Guys!!!
