i agree the age guidelines are not real world limits use your own judgement and purchase what you feel is the best value for you and the best size for your childs skill my 7 year old has been riding for 4 years now and rides a 50cc cobra dirt bike capable of over 70mph ha limit that he placed 2ed place overall championship in his motocross class my 4 year old rides an lt80 and i am going to get a lt50 as soon as the new ones are out for my 3 year old if the dealer dont like it i will find one that dose

My 7 year old is almost 5 Ft tall and 100 lbs. When we sat him on the "recomended age" scrambler 50, I thought everyone at the dealership was going to bust a gut laughing. He almost bottomed out the suspension. We ended up with the SP90 actually recomended for 12-16 yr olds. I realize that these age limits are guidlines but I think we need to be realistic. Fit the Quad to the Individual not the age. If that were true, My 65 yr. old father should look for a Sportsman 900. Have fun and be safe.
