Default polaris 700

i just drove the 05 polaris 700.

what a machine!!!!
i just bought a 05 arctic cat 500.

the polaris is more comfort ride and stears alot easier.
i owned 2 polaris' before then thought i would go to a arctic cat.

the ac 500 top speed is 50-52 mph....not sure yet on how it will pull my spring tooth for food plots yet.my polaris 400 had no problem and never changed a belt.

can the 700 be used for work or is it just for speed???
think i should stick with the ac 500 or try to get a polaris 700???

The top speed of your 500 should be higher than 52, if your polaris 400 pulled your spring tooth than the ac will. The 700 polaris is more work oriented than your 500 is, it just has more power. It is a choice you have to make as the ac should handle anything you throw at it, if you need more power, then buy the polaris.

the 700 is a multipurpose machine, work or play, it gets everything done, with ease.

thanks for the replies..

like i said i just bought the ac 500 in sept of 05.
i just drove the 05 700 efi and loved it best.
not sure if what to do.

i owned two polarises before and had no problems.
my latest was the 02 polaris 400 4x4 and worked great in top speed and work horse. never replaced a belt even after over 4000 miles.

what i don't like about the 05 ac 500 is the aotomatic choke ....when cold it is hard to get in gear.and the top speed of only 50 mph.

what i don't like about the 05 700 efi is the oil filter....how en the heck are you suppose to get in the with a tool???

let me know guys and where the best deal to get an 05 700 around minnesota or wadena,mn

The oil filter is a piece of cake. Just grab it with some oil filter pliers (from the side), and off she goes.

I have a solution to your ATV dilemma.....

Buy an 800!!

you don't have to wrench on the filter to get it tight, all you have to do is get it snugged up real nice by hand. thats what i do, have never had any problems with it, i use the same method for all of my vehicles.
