Magnum 325 Idle
#1
My dad has a 2000 Magnum 325. It has always been a pain to keep running when it’s cold. You have to keep turning the choke on and off, and playing with the throttle until it warms up. Once it’s warm it idles and runs fine. Would adjusting the idle mixture help this problem? Has anyone else experienced this annoying problem?

The 325/330 engine is notorious for being cold natured. Not sure how the plastic is on the Magnum, but on my Boss, it's easier to just adjust the idle until it gets warmed up.

I've heard about this being a problem from other people also. I was hoping there was an easy fix other than having to play with the idle speed adjustment every cold start. Anyone find an easy solution?

gotta 02 mag 325, had similar problem, also engine cutting out once in awhile when hot, had a tip from friend at service dept. said to cut air intake hole in breather box about 1/4 inch deeper, lets in alittle more air. thought he was crazy but it worked. vacum controled carb uses presure from intake box.
