The A-arm trouble breaking off happened to me too. Next time, since waranty is over, I will either wait to see if 2007 do get stronger ones and get that one or I will buy the old part and fix it custom. You can get parts list drawings on polaris website under your model and year and you can just call in it's part number to order, that is quite helpfull actually.

Good for you, these aren't bad machines they just need some tuning for personal preference. I'm quite happy with the ride quality with the 25" radial tires and after a little carb tuning it runs great and the mileage has increased to the mid to upper 20's. I got 28mpg trail cruising on an 84 mile run.
Maybe they will lighten up the swaybar on newer versions

Below is link to my video of rear hawkeye suspension after the sway bar is gone. It's about 20 Mb so it may take a while to load. Hope the visual helps.

Somebody asked me on this and I could not e-mail him/her back, so here it is ...
How to remove sway bar (number 5 in the picture):
See picture at:
http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/inde...b-005b1e2667d4
Remove two steel rods group number 11 conecting sway bar to A-arms.
Change two, now two long, A-arm bolts for shorter ones.
Take off four bolts numbered 9 and remove all now loose parts 6,7, and 8.
Disconect wire plug behing sway bar in hard to reach area.
Take out sway bar and plug the wire back in.
That's it.
Good luck
Also I did cut out bit of my side fenders in order to run 40 degrees sidetilt without getting stuck, just in case you are wondering watching my second video.
