am i to late????

i just bought a brand new polaris sportsman 500 efi camoflaug on april 3 2006. i also bought a 2500 lb winch with it.

now 6 days ;ater i see an add at the same place i bought mine with a free winch or 500 off.
i want a plow also....maybe he can give me a $500 plow....that is what he quoted me for the glacier plow.

what do you all think??? why didn't he tell me about the free plow or $500 off...i woulda waited 1 week.

 

Sounds like you were too early. It's worth a shot to try. Maybe even return it then buy it again. One simple reason he wouldn't have told you-more money in his pockets. Not neccessarily the whole $500, but better sales for that month= better kick backs from manufacturer.

 

maybe i did buy to early but had no idea....here is what i told him when i was gonna buy one.

i told him a week before i bought one that i might weight with the winch till later on in the summer. he said if you want a winch you better get it now before the deal go's off you will pay $500 for a 2500 lb winch instead of $400 that he charged me.

my polaris 500 EFI camo was $6450 and with a winch it was $6850.

he should owe me $400 or i'll give him a $100 and gives me a glacier plow system(he told me $500 for the plow system)

i'm alittle upset right now!!!
i bought mine on april 3 and 5 days later found out about this free winch deal.

 

when did the offer start? I can see the offer on their site, but when you click on the details it says no current offers for that product line (atv)


It seems as though he couldn't make money on a winch if you were going to get one for free. I'd check to see when the offer started, because you may be within time frame. And if not talk to your dealer, see if he'll make it right. Go straight to the general manager though, not the salesman or the sales manager. And speek with him in a polite manner, you'll get further. If not, I'd talk to Polaris and explain to them that they tricked you into it with this suppossed deal knowing that if you waited you wouldn't be paying more, you'd get it for free.

heres the deal.

i called my dealer today and they said.....

i got the winch free.

normal price on the polaris 500 camo efi is $6850.......with out a winch it woulda been $6450..that is the offer that started in march and will end soon.
you will pay $6850 with out a winch.
i took it the wrong way cuz i didn't know what the normal price was.

Glad you looked into it. Suzuki was running a similar deal when I bought my Z and even though it's a sport quad, I was going to try and get one for free.LOL
But it was either over a certain price or utes only.
